For monitoring the call flow, you must go to the Asterisk CLI, make an outgoing or incoming call to any of the extensions that have the recordings feature enable. During the call, you will see the log generated for the call, and see if an error or warning appear. You may post that call trace here, to analyze them (Hide any sensitive data).
For checking if the recordings are present on the PBX, you must go to /var/spool/asterisk/monitor/0
