when i do a call to the extern we have the digit 9 for extern calls. when we receive a call from outside caller i would like to modify the number from the caller to add 9 to their number so when we go in call lists, we could call back with the recall button.
Example : someone call with the number 450-XXX-XXXX i want to modify the call number to be 9-450-XXX-XXXX.
presently i use an option on my phones that add the 9 to any number that have more than 10 digit, but the problem is that now when i call to the extern the phone add 9 to any call we do and it make a nor reachable number to call. Example I want to call 450-XXX-XXXX i need to put the 9 before the number to call. but with the option I put on the phone if I put the 9 before the calling number he will put two 9 : 9-9-450-XXX-XXXX.
does it possible, with an option in VitalPBX to only modify the external incoming call?
You should use the CID Modifiers Module, that allows you to create like a profile to modify incoming caller id number/name. After create a CID Modifier you must to go to your inbound routes and assign it.
