I’m just venturing into this, I have very little experience with this, so I was hoping to get some pointers.

I have a few sip numbers, those are successfully registered as far as I can see (using pjsip).

I have defined some extensions and a ring group and an inbound route.

But I can’t seem to get the linksys phone to register towards the vitalpbx?

I’ve pasted the vitalpbx settings and the linksys settings below.

    Any input on this?

Do these Linksys phones support SIP protocol?

    Hi Jose.

Yes, they are currently connected to a fritz!box router via SIP. But when I try to connect one to vitalpbx, I get an error 403, which is like wrong username/password or denied in other ways,

Btw. it’s Linksys SPA492 also known as Cisco SPA942.

Btw. I’m also looing into incrediblepbx, and on that the phones register as chan_sip, so they do work.

I just find the incrediblepbx very very confusing setting up.

There is an easy solution for your problem:
you are using the wrong username.
Keep in mind your phone or ip might get blocked by this failed attemps.
If you look closer then your auth-id and user id should NOT be kontor but 2000!
Your settings are seen in the screenshot under User Device.
