We are running a weekly backup on one of our servers, the backup file seems to be getting smaller in size every week. See attached screenshot.
[root@vitalpbx]# ll -htotal 6.7G-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1.4G Dec 6 00:21 vitalpbx-1575608402.tar-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1.2G Dec 13 00:31 vitalpbx-1576213202.tar-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1.5G Dec 20 00:42 vitalpbx-1576818002.tar-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1.3G Dec 27 00:49 vitalpbx-1577422801.tar-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 476M Jan 3 00:55 vitalpbx-1578027601.tar-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 451M Jan 10 01:04 vitalpbx-1578632401.tar-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 361M Jan 17 01:13 vitalpbx-1579237201.tar-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 221M Jan 24 01:23 vitalpbx-1579842002.tar
I opened the latest backup file and looked at the recordings folder, I saw that it only backed up 2019/11/26 folder
What is happening?
Did you check if you have enabled the maintenance module or the sonata recordings?
Those apps delete old recordings according to the given configurations.
No recordings are being deleted.
As I explained in the first post, it only backed up recordings from a specific day.
[root@vitalpbx monitor]# du -sh *34G 201919G 2020
As you can see these recordings exist on the PBX.
Surely this is an issue, so, we will try to find a solution for it.
Thanks for reporting it.
Just an update, see attached image. I ran backup manually on Feb 5 and it seems to have backed up everything.
It ran automatically on the 7th, it only backed up 38.51MB.
It ran automatically again on the 14th, and it seems to have backed up everything. I did not make any changes.
We release an update a couple of days ago for fixing this issue.
Thanks for your reply. As you can see in the screenshot, that I am already running 2.4.0-4.
Perhaps the new update is in 2.4.0-5 ?
Yes, the update is on v2.4.0-5
