Is it possible to record external calls only?
I see that you can only enable call recording on Inbound Routes and not Outbound Routes.
What about outgoing calls? I know you can “catch” outgoing calls by enabling recording on the extension level, but that would record extension to extension calls as well.
Maybe there should be an option to enable call recording on the outbound routes. Or maybe on the Trunk level, that way you can easily enable call recording for external calls on a Tenant.
For now, is there a way to record the outgoing calls?
This particular place where we want to record is a tenant. Can we perhaps use the Trunk Passthrough add-on to record it? And if so, would the the recorded calls show up under the tenant CDR?
P.S. It will be appreciated if you guys can do a YouTube video on the Pass-Through add-on.
Woops! I totally missed the recordings section under the extensions. I promise I saw it before, I’ll blame this on jet-lag..

Anyway, a note for future visitors: You need to also allow recordings for the tenant.
