hilooking to use asterisks transfer features via feature code . but when i input codes during a call nothing happens. do i need to enable it somewhere add transfer to dial string .

Check the dial profile, you control the possibility of using DTMF codes on the calls there. Though as the warning sign there mentions, be very careful if you are allowing transferring via DTMF for the callers without a proper Class of service.Attachments:

What do you mean by call transfer? Do you mean call forwarding or divert? I would like to know more about this call transfer. Thank you!May be the OP is asking for call driver or forwarding. But this issue will be solved when he will give us some more details.

To use QMetrics with VitalPBX, and doesn’t lose any functionalities, make sure to define on QMetrices the following parameter:platform.directami.extension=Local/${num}@queue-call-to-agents
The parameter above defines how the agents will be added and dialed on Queues, without this, the calls will be not recorded or transferred.
