Can not clearing Call Forwarding

    I activated *58 on an extension and it asked me to enter to extension to forward to followed by the # key. This forwarding worked! 

    Whenever I dial *58 now, the forwarding to the extension is toggled on/off.
    With *59 I can set another “forwarding number”, but I can not clear call forwarding.

    For now, I deleted the extension and recreated it!

    So, is there an easy  way do clear the call forwarding, as if it has never been enable on an extension?

    You can configure any diversion from the Extensions Status module

    Yes, I can configure any other diversion, but that won’t clear, just changed.
    So you never can go back to the “virgin” situation.
    I was testing this “forwarding thing” and trying to write a small manual for my users.

    It’s smart to ask the user for the forwardinig number the first time he uses *58.
    But easy use I decided to let the user use *59 first to activate the forwarding number and *58 to toggle the forwarding on/off.

    This way it’s consistent to the user.

    Well, you may clear the assigned number if you click on the edit button on the extension’s status. check the attached picture
