Am trying out Communicator for a small inbound contact / support center. Great softphone for agents – has everything you could need!! However, we often need to call in to an automated attendant and enter a fairly long ticket number. If typed too fast, digits are missed by the phone. It seems the phone plays out a 200ms digit with a 50ms gap between. So, if an agent types digits faster than 4 per second, they get missed. This only happens “in call”. Digits are buffered when calling, before the dial button is clicked.
Question: can this cadence be modified? Can the DTMF digit be shortened to 100ms or, better yet, be buffered and played out at the existing cadence while entering “in call”? Is this something I could do (is source available)?
