I have some analog phones conected through Grandstream GXW4224 gateways, we would like to use the “Flash” to hold and transfer calls, but when pressing “Flash” just nothing happens.
In another place, we have the same gateway model with another distro of Asterisk, there the flash in the analog phones works like a charm.
We compared the configurations of the gateways carefuly, so, the only diference is the Vital PBX, is there a way to configure the flash response on the Vital? We’re using the 2.3.6-1 version.

What do the flash buttons do? What is the expected action?

The FXS sends the flash pressings as a  DTMF event, but, in our tests, the Vital PBX doesnt recognize or doesnt take any action when the flash is pressed.
We would like to use the flash for “hold” and “unhold” a call.

In another distro we have in another client, the flash can be used normally, including for attended transfer: during a call, press flash, then digit the extension, talk if want, then disconect, the call was transfered.
