    Hi all,

We have the multi-tenant vital pbx and need to know how to extensions internally between the tenants? and how to restrict that also?
Like we have a extension in tenant T2 with prefix (T2_555) and want to dial any other extension in tenant T4 like for example (T4_543)
    How to get that done?

    Thank you,

You can find the answer in FAQ, anyway this is the procedure.

When you create the Tenant, go to Calls Routing and add in Allow Tenant Trunk all the Tenant you want to communicate with.

Then you go to the previously created Tenant and you are going to create a Trunk and in the type you select Tenant and in the Tenant* field you associate it with the Tenant you want to communicate with.

Finally you go to Outbound Routes Create a route, select the trunk created previously and define in the Dial Patterns the prefixes or the patterns of the extensions you want to call.

Thanks for that great short explanation. But if we did so and I have one tenant for Support team that we intend to make it call all tenants, then we will have Trunk and outbound routes for each tenant we want to call. For example, if we have 50 tenants other than the one for support team, then we will need a 50 trunk and 50 outbound routes on the support tenant other than the other trunks and outbound routes for outside calls.
Is there any way to make decrease the number of trunks and outbound routes?

    Thank you,

Calls between Tenants are not common, so Tenants are created to maintain independence between each Tenant.
