Go to the Global Fax Settings, and make sure that the following IP be listed on the field “Allowed Hosts

    127.0.0.1
    localhost

If they are listed, then, save the settings, and try to send the fax again.

Thanks so much, it worked now on the master tenant. But it doesn’t on the other salve or clients’ tenant. How can I assign specif fax device for each tenant alone and other tenants can’t see or even use it?

Go to the Users profile and edit the role of the tenant administrator, and add the desired modules, in this case, the virtual faxes.

Don’t share with the tenant administrator the Global Fax Settings.

Can you also explain what the purpose of the listening port is? Why is it defaulted to 3570?

Also, why is there an allowed hosts? Does this suggest you can relay a fax from outside the GUI? If you can send a fax from outside the PBX GUI how do we do this? Is this an SSH or FTP or Email listening? DO we just SMTP an attachment to port 3570 or drop in a file into an ftp folder? Please help everyone understand the logic.

Some further use cases and instructions on this module are lacking documentation and the Add On page does not include any manuals for implementing this nor any documentation on the functionality. Please provide more!
