Incoming calls are counted wrong in dashboard

    The VitalPBX Dashboard has a graph of the “Call Traffic Today”.
    I noticed the number of incoming calls was quite high.
    After some calculations, the number of incoming calls seemed very unrealistic.
    At 0:00 AM the calls are reset to zero again, and I called the company and bypassed the “we are closed” message.
    At this particular location every incoming call lets 6 phones ring.

    When I hanged up, the incoming call showed 6 calls, while it should have counted only 1 incoming call.
    We have an average of 4000 calls/day according to Vital PBX, but because my average ringing phones is 4,
    the number of calls is more into the 1000 calls/day ball park.

    So is this counting of ringing phones instead of real incoming calls a feature or just a bug ?

    Every ring to an extension is recorded as a separate call in CDRs. That should not be. It gets compounded with queues. Have been asking for an alteration to this reporting for some time now. Have an active ticket in on it. Effects accurate Stats reporting also.
