    Setting up intercom and paging groups on the PBX, I cant seem to get Yealink phones to autoanswer. Calls are made to the phones as if they where a regular call. I have activated Internal Auto Answer on the extensions and Intercom Allow is set to Enabled on the Phones. Anything else that would need to be enabled to make the phones autoanswer?

    PBX is remote to the phones, only way for me so far to get paging working is setting up multicast IP directly on the phones.

    So, to perform the paging, you dial 9128?

    Are u using PJSIP on your devices or SIP?

    It is very strange, because, I’ve tested this and works like a charm.

    From yealink –

    Follow SIP headers can make phone auto answer a call.

    Alert-Info:info=alert-autoanswer
    Alert-Info:answer-after=0
    Call-info:answer-after=0

    Closest one I see we are sending would be:

    Call-Info: <uri>;answer-after=0

    Would the extra <uri>; be the cause of the issue since its not the right string the phones are waiting for? Any way to modify this manually?

    @hlev

    The issue is that you are using PJSIP, and the headers apply only for the SIP protocol.

    We will fix this for the next version.

    @ing-joserivera26

    Are there plans to migrate from SIP as the default protocol to PJSIP, given that SIP is depreciated?

    And are we likely to see the PJSIP patch for version 3?

    @technomancer_101

    On future versions, the PJSIP will be the main protocol, but, only for new installations.

    @hlev

    This is fixed on Release 3 of version 2.4.0

    Thank you very much, I now have it properly working.
