    If I have set up Openvpn on a VitalPBX in the cloud and both Yealink phones now have a Client Cert Installed… Is the conversation between the two OpenVPN clients now encrypted?  Both Voice and Signaling between the phones and the server?  Is there any indication on the phone that tells me that the call is encrypted?

     

    If the phones both having the same extension using PJSIP matter that they both have the same extension?

     

    I made sure that I have Compression: comp-lzo & Cipher-Method set to AES-256.

    When a Yealink is connected to an OpenVPN server, you’ll see a red V on the phone screen up by the clock.

    To encrypt the signaling register the phone to your VitalPBX server via it’s address of 10.8.0.1. If both phones are connected directly to the OpenVPN server address, then the voice between them should also be encrypted.
