› VitalPBX Community Support › General Discussion › Outbound Route Based on Route Selection (COS) Doesn't work
I use Multi tenant edition and latest release VitalPBX Carrier 2.3.6-1.
I want to assign a trunk for each extension but it always call via first trunk of main tenant outbound routes.
already setup the COS and rest of it.
Trunks and outbound routes are setup on Main tenant
Sub tenant has outbound routes and main tenant trunk
Sub tenant has Route selection, COS and extensions are selected.
but it always calls via first trunk of Tenant’s Allowed Trunks.
You may use a dial prefix depending on the extension.
Outbound Routes Prefix, Pattern, Trunk (Main Tenant)2 XXXXXXXXXX trk-A3 XXXXXXXXXX trk-BPrepend, Pattern, Trunk, Class of Service (Secondary Tenant)2 XXXXXXXXXX tenant-trunk (COS-A)3 XXXXXXXXXX tenant-trunk (COS-B)
When I put Prepend and Prefix it gives a Forbidden error. It sends full number include prepend to the provider. so it doesn’t remove prepend while sending to provider.
The idea is that in the main tenant the prepended number gets removed, and not send to the provider.
I know but it doesn’t remove the prepend number on outbound routes even I put that number into the prefix.
Most probably you have some miss configurations.
