When my phone receives a call it comes in with a +1XXXXXXXXXX.

If I go to select that number to dial it back it doesn’t go through because the dial plan doesn’t use the + code.

So how do I strip the + from the number in the dial plan (or somewhere else?)

Also would love to know how to reformat numbers that include (XXX)XXX-XXXX from the contacts so the dialplan can format that correctly for use.

Hello Matt, have you tried the CID Modifiers module? On this module you can modify CID information for the CID name and number. So you can strip characters from the beginning and/or the end. Go to PBX > Incoming Calls > CID Modifiers, create a CID modifier to strip 1 character off the CID number, and then apply that CID Modifier to the inbound route.

Thanks that worked great for solving the first problem.
Any tips for solving problem #2?
