    Hello,

perhaps it is not quite related to VitalPBX but I will aks anyway.

I am running the latest version of VitalPBX and additionally we have set up a terminal server (Win Server 2019) for remote desktop acess.

Now, the Softphone Client installed on the terminal server works just fine (clear Audio output and also clear input) on the Windows clients.

I have a problem wirh Mac users. In the RDP session, the can open the Sofphone client call any Number, the can hear clearly the other party but the microphone makes trouble.

When they talk it comes totally unclear across to the listener.

I have tested it form two Macboock. Both have the same Problem.

Ist it perhaps something with codecs?

    Thank you for any info.

    Ondrej

What softphone are you using in Mac?  What version of Mac do you have?

    Hello,

it is practically a Windows RDP session, so it is not the Mac itself. Its just the Audio devices used in the RDP.

There are two Softphone clients installed:

    1. 3CX (version 6)
    2. Ninja Lite

I tested it from both and the result is the same. The microphone picks up the audio but for the remote Caller is it just not undestandable. It s kind of interrupted in half of a seconds…

Again, same scenario on a Windows client, Audio is titally OK. Output and Input.
