Unresponsive switchboard web interface

    Hello,

    We are facing very slow issue with switchboard web interface. We can’t even click on spy and whisper function. Our main intention for switchboard is to monitor agents with spy and whisper function. Please help us how to make it faster response.

    We are using Vital PBX version 2.4.1-3 and switch board is 2.1.1-4.  We monitored the system load with htop but didn’t find any spike in CPU or RAM. It’s just going unresponsive.

    How many extensions are you managing on the server, and how many people are using the switchboard at the same time? What are your hardware specs?

    We are managing nearly 50 agents and only 2 person were accessing to switchboard interface at that time. We observed that if we use console mode, it’s a little faster.

    Below is our server spec.

    CPU- Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2620 v2 @ 2.10GHz

    Core -12 Cores

    RAM- 64 GB

    In the future more supervisor will be accessing to switchboard for spy and whisper function.

    We have way way less hardware specs than you posted, but also less extensions on the dashboard.

    I’d start by reviewing httpd logs to see if you spot anything obvious. Also which browser are you using?

    And just to confirm, all user permissions in Sonata are set properly. Right?

    We downgraded switchboard to 2.1.0-5. And we will be observing with 2-4 supervisors and 40 agents.

    We’ve set required permission in Sonata.
